Highly motivated experienced developer. We are looking for a problem solver with programming skills.
Desirable background
1. Experienced equity derivatives (listed options, futures) trading systems. Convertible bond and convertible preferreds background is a plus.
2. Familiar with multi asset trading and risk management systems.
3. Position keeping, trading and intraday derivatives risk.
4. Options, option trading, risk and risk calculations.
5. Experience and desire to work with traders on a trading floor.
6. Background in equity regulatory requirements (Oats and Act reporting) is a plus.
7. Familiar with market data and the challenges of options market data . Activ Financial market data is a substantive plus.
Development background in a Microsoft envirnment. Critical technology skills include:
1. Microsoft based C++ programming.
2. Microsoft .Net development, C# development.
3. Databases, SQLServer programming.
4. Background in FIX protocols, order and front office derivative based order managemnet systems.
5. Background in building high performance intraday ticking risk and position keeping systems.
Compensation: $110-130K base + bonus
